When is the Best Time to Visit Watamu Marine National Park?

Basically the best time to visit Watamu Marine National Park is during the dry seasons which is from January to March and July to September. During this time the weather is generally warm and sunny making for clear waters and hence water activities like diving, snorkeling among others can be done. As well, marine life is more active during this period. The ocean has less winds during this time as well.
The rainy seasons start in April to June and October to December. This season comes along with heavy rains and strong winds, these conditions makes it very unpredictable for one to do water activities. By Air: this is by far the quickest way to get to Watamu Marine National Park, flights are available into Malindi Airport, which is about 30 kilometers away from the park.
