8 Days Uganda gorilla trekking through Kigali and Masai Mara Safari

Early morning after breakfast you will meet our professional driver guide to start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home of Mountain gorillas you will have brief stops along the way for scenic view and then proceed to Kigezi highlands well known as Switzerland of Africa, upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge for relaxation and have dinner and then overnight.

After your early morning breakfast, our driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority park ranger, you will be welcomed by the local community as they entertain you with cultural performances, thereafter you will start your trekking activity escorted by armed ranger this trek may take about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where mountain gorillas will be encountered, the moment you find them you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with gorillas as you interact with them, taking pictures and later return to the park headquarter to be awarded certificates and later return at the lodge for relaxation and overnight

After breakfast you embark on your vehicle and drive to back to Kigali, upon reaching you will check in at the hotel for relaxation and overnight.

Fly to JKIA, upon arrival in Nairobi, claim your bags and proceed towards arrival hall.  Our representative will meet you and assist you with your transfer to hotel. You will enjoy lunch at Carnivore and overnight in Nairobi

After breakfast, drive through the stunning & scenic views with brief stopovers to admire the breathtaking views and optional shopping at the curio shops and continue your journey to Masai Mara with a short game drive enroute before reaching the lodge. Arrive at the lodge in time for check in and lunch. Day at Leisure to enjoy the facilities the lodge has to offer before going for a thrilling introductory evening game drive in the Magnificent Masai Mara. Return to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight Stay

Masai Mara Game Reserve

The Maasai Mara (also known as the Masai Mara, and locally simply as The Mara) is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their description of the area when looked at from afar: "Mara" means "spotted" in the local Maasai language of Maa, due to the many trees which dot the landscape. It is world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephant, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's gazelle and other antelope, to and from the Serengeti every year known as the Great Migration. The Masai Mara “Big Five” are the Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. The Greater Mara Ecosystem encompasses areas known as the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Triangle, and several Maasai Conservancies, including: Koiyaki, Lemek, Ol Chorro Oirowua, Olkinyei, Siana, Maji Moto, Naikara, Ol Derkesi, Kerinkani, Oloirien, and Kimintet.

Early morning breakfast and depart the lodge for an optional activity of hot air balloon or visit the Masai village for cultural experience. You will later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Early morning breakfast and depart the lodge with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. At lunchtime, our guide will pick a scenic (and safe) spot where you will enjoy your lunch and hear animals howling, birds chirping and the mighty Mara River flowing across the savannah bringing life to the park. After watching more of the spectacle that never gets dull, transfer back to your lodge.

Enjoy a bush dinner and overnight stay in Masai Mara.
