Tour Summary
Our 8 days Uganda Gorilla Safari through Kigali, Rwanda is meant for those people who are interested in safari in Uganda but can only get flights in through Kigali or fancy shorter drives as well as those staying in Rwanda. Also with the current price of the Gorilla permit of Rwanda, Uganda is now a preferred destination for Gorilla tracking. This this trip gives you a shorter drive time while giving you a feel of both Uganda and Rwanda while on the trip. It will take you to some of the amazing national parks of Uganda such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorillas, Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and boat cruise and Kibale National Park for Chimpanzees. The last day of this safari to spent around Lake Bunyonyi to enable you to just relax after the safari.

Summarized Itinerary
- Day 1: Pick up from the Airport/Hotel and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Day 2: Gorilla trekking and other optional activities around the park.
- Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Day 4: Morning game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
- Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
- Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk.
- Day 7: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.
- Day 8: Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and later drive back to Kigali to end the trip.

Pick up from Airport/Hotel in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will meet your guide at the Hotel/Airport in Kigali and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You will stop at the Genocide memorial and later for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi. The drive is very scenic and you will have more stop overs for photography and viewing.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trek. You will then be allocated a gorilla family with other visitors to make a group of 8 people the maximum number for viewing a gorilla family per day. You will then start the trek in the forest until you find the Gorillas and you will be allowed to view and take photographs for strictly one hour and after you will return to receive your certificates and finally head to the lodge for relaxation.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National park for an evening game drive in search of late grazers before heading to the lodge for check in. you will be able to view wildlife like Buffalos, Elephants, Kobs, and others but nature dictates.

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
Early morning you will start your game drive in Kasenyi and have chances of viewing buffalos, Elephants, Kobs, birds, among others. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to the Jetty to start you cruise on Kazinga channel. You will be able to spot aquatic animals and other wildlife

Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and have a short game drive as you leave the park heading to Kibale National Park. You will stop for lunch in Fort portal and later proceed to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland walk
After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing before you start your chimpanzee trek. Your guide will brief you on the do’s and don’ts about the trek and after start you trek. You will have chances of viewing other primates like monkeys, baboons, birds, Reptiles. You will be allowed to view and take photography for a maximum of one hour after which you will return.

Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for Relation
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi in the south of Uganda for relaxation. You can instead opt to have community visits and nature walks around the lake as it is very experiential.

Morning boat ride and transfer back to Kigali to end the 8 day Uganda safari through Kigali.
In the morning you will have a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi up to the punishment island and you will be able to visit communities that stay on this Islands. You will later return to the lodge and bid farewell then return back to Kigali for a drop off at the Hotel/Kigali international Airport to end your 8 days Uganda safari through Kigali.
