8 Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife safari

Our professional driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport/Hotel and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for equator experience and photography and later proceed to Lake Mburo arriving in time for lunch You will check in at the lodge have lunch and later depart for a game drive and boat cruise for chances of spotting wildlife such as eland, Zebras, Antelopes, Buffaloes, hippopotamus, crocodiles among others.

After breakfast, you will have an en-route game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through several towns such as Mbarara, and Ntungamo with beautiful landscapes and views of the plantations and hills, you will arrive at the lodge in the evening and check in at the lodge have dinner and overnight

After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during trekking and later start your gorilla trekking experience, the journey can last between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you will choose to trek, Once you find these gorillas you will spend one hour observing their behaviors and taking photos and later return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificates to confirm a successful gorilla trekking in Uganda and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight

You will have breakfast you will embark on your vehicle, bid farewell to the lodge,drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch You will check in at the lodge have lunch and later depart for a game drive for chances of spotting a variety of wildlife such as waterbucks, Warthogs, Antelopes, herds of Buffaloes to mention but a few, you will later drive back at the lodge for dinner and overnight

End of the tour 

You will have an early morning game drive in Kasenyi for chances to spot a diversity of wildlife, on a lucky day you may spot lions and leopards while on your game drive, you will later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, and you will later have an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel that connects lake Edward and Lake George, you will have a chance of spotting diverse wildlife such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants along the banks not forgetting a variety of bird species, you will later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight. Note that you can also do a night game drive at an extra cost

On this day you will venture out early on a game drive to track lions. The lions are easily spotted during this time as they end their night. Lion tracking allows you to spot them easily as they have collars that help in monitoring their movements. This will take about 3 to 4 hours and then you will be taken back to the lodge  for lunch and then check out. You will then head to Kibale national park . upon arrival at the lodge, you will be warmly received and ushered into your room , you will have dinner in the evening to seal your day

Drive time : 2-3 hours

You will start this day with breakfast and then drive to the park to start trekking. When you arrive at the park, you will be briefed by the rangers on the whole process of chimpanzee tracking. You will then start your activity escorted by the park rangers. Once you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed one hour with them. Once this is done, you will be rewarded with a certificate for participating. After this you will be taken back to the lodge for Lunch . The afternoon will be spent relaxing at the lodge and then you will have your dinner to end your day.
