You will have an opportunity to spend one hour with mountain gorillas observing their behaviors and taking photographs, do not miss carrying a camera for such a memorable experience.

Day 1 Pick-up from Entebbe/Kampala and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for afternoon game drive and boat cruise

Day 2: Morning game drive and drive to Bwindi impenetrable national Park

Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe for drop-off to end the tour

Day 1

Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala and drive to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon game drive and Boat cruise

Our professional driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport/Hotel and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for equator experience and photography and later proceed to Lake Mburo arriving in time for lunch You will check in at the lodge have lunch and later depart for a game drive and boat cruise for chances of spotting wildlife such as eland, Zebras, Antelopes, Buffaloes, hippopotamus, crocodiles among others.

Basic: Rwakobo Rock Lodge

Mid-Range: Montana Tented camp

Luxury: Kigambira safari lodge/ Mihingo lodge

 

Drive time: Approximately 4-5 hours

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will have an en-route game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through several towns such as Mbarara, and Ntungamo with beautiful landscapes and views of the plantations and hills, you will arrive at the lodge in the evening and check in at the lodge have dinner and overnight

Mid-range: 4 Gorillas lodge, Gorilla Leisure Lodge, Ichumbi Gorilla lodge 

Luxury: Gorilla Heights Lodge/Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs Lodge

Drive time 5-6 hours

Day 3

Gorilla trekking experience

After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during trekking and later start your gorilla trekking experience, the journey can last between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you will choose to trek, Once you find these gorillas you will spend one hour observing their behaviors and taking photos and later return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificates to confirm a successful gorilla trekking in Uganda and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight

Day 4

Transfer to the Northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon game drive

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to the lodge and embark on your vehicle for Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have several stops along the way for scenic views and photography you will arrive in time for lunch and check in at the lodge have lunch and relaxation, you will later depart for afternoon game drive for chances of spotting wildlife, you may encounter herds of elephant, buffalos and antelopes, families of warthogs to mention but a few you will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Mid-Range: Elephant Hab lodge/ Buffalo Safari lodge

Luxury: Kyambura Gorge lodge/Elephant Plains lodge

 

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Drive Time: Approximately 4-5 hours

Day 5

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

You will have an early morning game drive in Kasenyi for chances to spot a diversity of wildlife, on a lucky day you may spot lions and leopards while on your game drive, you will later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, and you will later have an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel that connects lake Edward and Lake George, you will have a chance of spotting diverse wildlife such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants along the banks not forgetting a variety of bird species, you will later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight. Note that you can also do a night game drive at an extra cost

You will have breakfast you will embark on your vehicle, bid farewell to the lodge, and transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe, you will have a stop along the way for lunch and later proceed to your hotel/ airport for drop off to end the tour
