6 Day Big Five Safari Kenya Marathon Safari

Your safari starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon and check into Kibo Safari camp, have hot lunch and then have some time to rest. Departure for an afternoon game drive later in the afternoon.

The highlight here is that Amboseli has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world. It is home to over 1700 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name. All this is seen with a magnificent background of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa standing at 5895 meters. After the game drive, you will head back to lodge/camp freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner.

Dinner and overnight.  Kibo Safari Camp

Have an early breakfast then proceed for a morning game drive with lunch boxes. After the morning game drive, you will then proceed to Sweetwater's. Along the way, you will stop for picnic lunch and then proceed to Ol Pejeta conservancy. You will arrive in Sweetwater's in the afternoon and check into your camp and have some time to rest. You will depart for the evening game drive at around 1530hrs in search for Rhinos both white and Black rhinos and other wildlife.

You will tour Sweetwater's Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Here visitors can enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the orphaned chimps that vary in age from 2-15 years and enjoy the sights and sounds of Man’s closest relative. It is also home to the last two of the Northern white Rhinos that remain in world. After the game drive, you will head back to lodge/camp freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner

Dinner and overnight. Sweetwaters Serena Camp

On this day you will have an early morning start with a game drive in search of the big cats, take Bush breakfast and then head for Naivasha. Arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch. You will then have optional activities for the day.

Either

: - Boat ride in Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal Sanctuary.

: - Visit Hell’s gate National Park.

: -Choose to take the afternoon relaxing at the hotel enjoying the beautiful sceneries along the shores of Lake Naivasha.

After the game drive, you will head back to lodge/camp freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner.

After breakfast, you will then drive to Maasai Mara, arrive in time for lunch and then have time to relax from the drive. Have lunch and later depart on an afternoon game drive.

A Maasai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya.

There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Maasai Mara is without doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa. Between July and October things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebras and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Maasai Mara in search of new grazing territory. And in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators including lion and leopard and lots of cheetahs and hyenas that all prey on them for a party after party.

This day’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss it with your guide and plan for the day’s schedule. You will have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 7:30 am with picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during it’s time and better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge/camp late afternoon.

Depending on your flight details you will organize with your guide on your departure from Maasai Mara. You will be transferred to your Nairobi Location or to the airport for your home bound flight.
