Arrival and visit Kigali Memorial Center
On arrival, you will meet your driver guide and start your trip, you will get to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial center referred to as the general exhibition ground of genocide in Rwanda. This is the only place where you will find the realities of the genocide, including the truth about the historical Rwanda genocide story of 1994, catalogs with details of the genocide using photographs, video and written accounts plus a range of artifacts, personal testimonies, Memorial Gardens containing ten graves and National Documentation Centre of the Genocide which all add to the importance of the deceased. You will have en route Lunch and then proceed to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will move to the park headquarters where your guide will complete briefing on the dos and dont's of gorilla trekking. You will then start your trek to the forest accompanied by rangers, guides and other visitors, Once you meet the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them, taking photographs and observing their daily life. After your gorilla trek activity, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Visit the African hero of Gorillas
After breakfast, take a visit to the grave of the late Dian Fossey, an American naturalist and the first white Gorilla Hero of Africa. Dian Fossey’s story is a beautiful one that conserves these great apes in Africa. She basically learned, exhibited, and lived the gorilla lifestyle. If possible you can even grab your copy of Gorillas in the mist a natural move based on the natural beauty of Africa's rainy forests. Later have a free leisure break dinner and overnight at your lodge.
