This trip will as well give you an opportunity to hike to the Dian Fossey Tomb to learn more about the fallen hero who played a major role in the conservation of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park. Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at the Kigali international Airport, you will be met by our safari guides who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape and the beautiful breathtaking land of over 1000 hills.

Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and transfer back to Kigali to end the 2 Days Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda
After breakfast you will drive to the headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. There you will be briefed by the ranger guides. With your packed lunch you will then start the gorilla trekking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. You may have an optional visit of the Ibyiwacu ex poacher’s village for cultural performance after tracking.
After the trek you will transfer back to Kigali. You may wish to enjoy a city tour including a visit to genocide memorial site depending on your departure flight out. You will be dropped off at the Kigali International Airport to mark the end of 2 days.
